Using the app

Lanter is provided for personal, non-commercial use in managing your own tasks and studies. You're welcome to use it however helps you, so long as it isn't to harm the app, its infrastructure, or other people.

Your content

The tasks, courses, and notes you create are yours. Lanter doesn't claim ownership over anything you enter. If you sign in, that content is backed up so you can restore it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you do, you're responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in works by magic link rather than a password.

No warranty

Lanter is provided as-is. We work carefully to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, including missed deadlines or lost data. We'd encourage keeping your own backups of anything critical.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update Lanter or these terms over time as the app grows. If the terms change meaningfully, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Ending your use

You can stop using Lanter, or delete your account and data, at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
